Breakfast Sausage Scramble
high fat, low carb, keto breakfast sausage scramble
Servings: 6 servings
Ingredients
- 12 large egg
 - 8 links Italian Sausage casing removed
 - 1 red pepper diced
 - 1 green pepper diced
 - 3 cups cheddar cheese shredded
 - 600 ml salsa
 - 1/4 cup 10% cream
 - salt and pepper
 - 2 large onion chopped
 
Instructions
- In a large pan, cook the sausage on medium til brown, breaking apart as you go. 8-12 minutes
 - Stir in onions and allow to soften, 3-5 minutes
 - Stir in peppers and cook another 3 minutes or so
 - While the peppers cook, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt and pepper in a medium sized mixing bowl
 - Remove everything from the pan, leaving some grease
 - Add the eggs to the pan, increase heat to medium high and scramble.
 - Serve topped with cheese and salsa
