Bacon Fried Dumplings and Noodles

Ingredients
Sauce
- 2 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 tsp chopped ginger
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce or hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp white rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 pinch black pepper
The rest
- 300 g chow mein noodles cooked to 1 minute less than package instructions, drained
- 200 g bacon sliced thin
- 12 large frozen gyoza dumplings Filling of choice, I used kimchi
- 4 green onion sliced into 2" pieces
- 2 cups snow peas ends trimmed
- 1-2 cups water
Instructions
- Cook the bacon to crispy in a large pan, 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving some of the bacon grease in the pan
- Add the dumplings to the bacon grease and fry til bottoms are golden brown, 4-5 minutes
- Add enough water to the pan to fill it up about 1 inch, cover and bring the heat to high.
- Once the water begins to steam add the greens and the sauce, cover again and steam for 5 minutes
- Uncover, reduce heat to medium low, add the noodles and bacon, then toss for another minute or two until the noodles are fully coated in sauce and cooked to desired doneness.
- Serve garnished with more green onions
