Bacon And Kale Penne
The kale makes it healthy, the bacon makes it good!

Ingredients
- 5 - 6 kale leaves , stems removed
- 1/2 lb bacon , cut into squares
- 450 g ricotta cheese
- 1 onion medium , diced
- 2 tbsps chopped garlic
- pepper ground
- 1/4 cup pasta water from the penne
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
- steam the kale for 8-12 minutes until fully wilted, chop finely and set aside.
- Heat a large pan on medium high, add bacon and cook til it stiffens, 5-8 minutes.
- Add onions and garlic, season with pepper and cook til onions soften- 2-4 minutes
- In a large mixing bowl combine ricotta, parmesan, bacon, kale, pasta. Add 1/4 cup pasta water slowly while stirring til sauce consistency is how you want it
