- pre heat oven to 325F with rack in the middle
- combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well to thoroughly and evenly coat the nuts in the syrrup and spices
- spread the nuts evenly on a parchment paper lined baking sheet, bake on middle rack for 20 minutes
- remove from oven and allow to cool completely, then break the nuts off the paper and apart from each other
