In a large pan steam the veggies until soft- about 3-5 minutes
Empty and dry the pan, setting the veggies aside.
melt button in the pan on medium heat, add garlic and simmer until fragrant- 2-3 minutes
Add the drained veggies back to the pan, toss to coat, season with salt and pepper and saute 2-3 minutes
Move veggies to a bowl with all the butter and garlic from the pan, toss with parmesan
Toss again with lemon zest to taste right before serving
