These make a nice little appetizer, but turned out to be a little more effort than they were worth. Pretty tasty none-the-less.

Two Bite Steak Wraps

These make a nice little appetizer, but turned out to be a little more effort than they were worth. Pretty tasty none-the-less.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb flank steak thin fast fry
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine sherry Chinese or dry
  • 2 cloves garlic , chopped
  • xbc broth cupbeef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic , chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1 inchs carrot , cut into matchsticks 2
  • xbd inchs red bell pepper , cut into matchsticks 2
  • 2 ribs celery , sliced thin on diagonal
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 12 3 inches chives , cut into long
  • 4 ounces mushrooms enoki
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons butter

Instructions

  • rub the steak with the pepper on both sides and marinate for at least 30 minutes (I recommend 2 hours)
  • In a bow mix together oyster sauce, rice wine / sherry, 2 cloves chopped garlic and broth
  • Add vegetable oil to a wok and then stir fry garlic, ginger, carrot, pepper, celery, soy sauce and sesame oil for 3 minutes
  • Cut steak into slices about 3u2033 by 4u2033, pile the vegetables along with some mushrooms and chives into each pieace, wrap and secure with tooth pic
  • Melt butter in a medium skillet, add sauce and bring to a simmer. Cook wraps in the sauce 3 minutes covered
