Shredded Chicken on home made corn tortillas

Ingredients
For The Carnitas
- 5 - 6 chicken thighs bone in, skin on
- 1 1/2 cups orange juice
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 2 tbsps chopped garlic
- 2 tbsps chili powder
- 2 tsps cumin
- 2 tsps oregano
- 1 tsp salt
Toppings
- 1/2 red onion , sliced
- 1/2 cup cilantro fresh chopped
- salsa verde
- queso fresco crumbled
Instructions
- Place all the carnita ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 5 hours.
- Remove the chicken from the slowcooker and pull apart with 2 forks, removing the bones.
- Optionally finish the meat in a skillet with a bit of the juices before serving on tortillas with toppings.
