Roasted Chicken with Sriracha Honey Sauce
So I had a ton of the sauce left over from the pork chops last night. So I put it on a chicken and roasted it. I also roasted some potatoes and grilled some asparagus to accompany. Sauce recipe here:

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 asparagus bundle
- 2 lb yukon gold potato mini , halved
- 2 tbsps paprika
- 2 tbsps garlic powder
- 2 tbsps cumin
- 1/3 cup butter or
- salt and pepper /
- 2 tbsps chopped garlic
- 2 large quartered onion ,
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F
- mix together the spices
- Pat the chicken with half the spice mix
- Put the potatoes and onions in a large bowl, coat with vegetable oil, then toss with remaining spice mix
- Put the chicken in the oven in a pan, uncovered
- Wrap the potatoes and onions in tin foil, poke holes in the top, place dolops of butter/margarine around, and put in the oven as well.
- Cook for 70 minutes.
- Remove chicken, brush with sauce and return to oven for 5 minutes. Remove and brush again, then leave for 15 minutes.
- Remove chicken from oven and cover with tin foil. Check the potatoes, if theyu2019re still too hard leave them in the oven at 400F while you do the asparagus
- Toss the asparagus with salt, oil and balsamic vinegar in a large bowl, then grill til you like them.
