Quick Korean Beef Bowl

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsps soy sauce
- 1 tbsp water
- 2 tsps sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp ginger grated or 1/4 tsp ground
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 green onion , sliced diagonally
- 3 - 4 cups rice dry
- sriracha
Instructions
- Cook the rice to package specifications.
- Heat oil in a large pan. Add garlic and fry til fragrant- about 30-45 seconds
- Add the ground beef to the pan and cook til brown. 5-8 minutes. Use a flat wooden spoon to make sure the beef is thoroughly chopped up.
- To make the sauce whisk together the sugar, soy sauce, water and ginger in a medium sized bowl.
- Drain the beef's fat, add 3/4 of the green onions and sauce. Cook another 5 minutes or so.
- Garnish with sriracha sauce and fresh onions.
