Linguine in Shrimp Sauce
Linguine in Shrimp Sauce Recipe by Raymond Selzer
Servings: 3 serving
Ingredients
- 28 oz can diced tomatoes drained
- 300 g shrimp pre cooked , tails and shells removed
- 1/4 cup basil fresh , chopped
- 2 tbsps chopped garlic
- 1/3 cup cream 10 % or 35 %
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- linguine
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 380 g Mozzarella, Fresh shredded
- 1/4 cup white wine, dry
Instructions
- put the linguine on to boil
- In a large mixing bowl toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic
- Heat a large non stick pan and add shrimp
- Saute shrimp for 3-5 minutes, then add wine. Turn heat to high til boiling, then reduce and simmer 3-5 minutes
- Add tomatoes, broth and cream, bring to a boil then reduce the heat to simmer. Simmer sauce 5-8 minutes
- Reduce heat to low and slowly stir in the cheese.
- When the linguine is almost done, drain the noodles and add them to the pan with the basil. Cook the noodles in the sauce for 2-3 minutes, Stirring frequently.
