Garlic and Herb Focaccia Recipe by Raymond Selzer

Ingredients
For The Dough
- 2 tsps yeast
- 1 cup water warm
- 2 tbsps sugar
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
For the Herb Oil
- 1 1/2 tbsps italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp parmesan
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsps garlic crushed
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- In a large mix bowl gently whisk together water, yeast and sugar. Cover with a cloth and let stand in a warm spot for 10-15 minutes until the mixure foams up.
- Add flour and salt while stirring continuously. Then add 1/4 cup olive oil. Stir til all liquid is gone, then knead with your hands for 5-10 minutes. Coat the dough ball with olive oil to prevent a skin forming, place back in the mixing bowl and cover again with a towel. Place in a warm spot for 1-2 hours to fully rise.
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- Coat a baking pan with olive oil. Press out dough in the pan so it’s about 1/2″ thick. Press fingers into the dough all over to form dimples. Cover the pan with a towel and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl whisk together all the Herb oil ingredients til fully combined. Brush evenly over the top of the bread.
- Bake bread at 400F for around 20 minutes til a golden brown crust forms on the top of the bread.
