Kasespatzle with Ham, Sriracha braised mushrooms and crispy deep fried onions

  • 2 onion medium , chopped fairly small
  • 2 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour


  • When the mushrooms are done, drain the remaining liquid and return them to the pan, then continue with the spatzle instructions
  • Whisk together the eggs and milk to make an egg wash
  • toss the onions in the egg wash then toss them in the flour. Deep fry 3-5 mins at 375F until golden brown
