- Cut the bacon into squares and fry to crispy. Remove bacon from the pan and saute the jalapenos. Remove the jalapenos from the grease and set aside. 
- Add butter, bacon grease, spices and broth to a large pot. Bring to a boil then simmer for 15 minutes. 
- Add cream and cheese to the pot and use a hand blender to combine. 
- Add bacon and jalapenos to the pot and simmer another 5 minutes.
