To make the dressing whisk together all the dressing ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate while you make everything else.
Heat a grill pan to high heat.
In a medium mixing bowl, toss the pear slices in 2 tbsp olive oil.
Grill the pear slices in the grill pan for about 1 minute per side or until the grill marks are very dark, but the pears aren't burnt. Grill the pears the in batches to achieve clean even grill marks.
Add all the salad ingredients to a large salad bowl, cover with the dressing, toss and serve.
