Lightly mix together meats, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, salt and pepper. Form into 6 large meatballs
Heat some olive oil on high in a large pan, fry meatballs, 2 mins per side then remove to a plate
Reduce heat to medium-high, Add onions and red peppers, salt and pepper to pan. Saute, stirring occasionally til soft. Roughly 5 mins.
Add mushrooms, more salt and pepper and saute til soft- another 5mins.
use red wine to deglaze pan
add potatoes, tomatoes, chicken broth. Turn heat back to high and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally
Reduce to simmer, add meatballs back in, making sure they are partially submerged.
Cover and cook til potatoes are soft, roughly 20 mins. Remove cover and simmer another 5 mins to reduce liquid.
