Preheat oven to 350F
Cook pasta til al dente, drain and set aside.
Brown the beef in a large, deep pan on medium. When almost browned, season with salt and pepper, then stir in onions.

Add chilli powder and vegetables, stir thoroughly to combine.
Stir in unprepared soups straight from their cans. Increase temperature to high, cover and bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Split the beef mixture evenly between 2 9x11 casserole dishes and place in the oven for 25 minutes.
After baking for 25 minutes, remove casseroles, top each evenly with half the cheese and return to oven for another 15 minutes.
