Combine all the ingredients except the roast, buns, chiles and bbq sauce
Cut the roast in half, add it to the slow cooker and pour the liquid over it. Slow cook on high for 5 hours, shred and return to pot for another 1 hour
turn on the broiler, broil the meat for 2-3 minutes with a little bit of the juices to crisp the meat a little, then return to the pot
cut the rolls in half and butter. add shredded meat to the bottom bun, top with chiles, 2 slices cheese and BBQ sauce. Broil til cheese is melted and top bun is toasted. 1-3 minutes
