Paneer Makhani

Ingredients
- 24 oz Paneer , cut into cubes
- 24 oz tomato pureed
- 2 tbsps ginger grated
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp fenugreek leaves
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsps butter
- 3/4 cups water
- 4 tbsps chopped garlic
- basmati rice
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat oil and butter, fry the bay leaf til fragrant, around 5 minutes
- Combine oil and 1 tbsp ginger with oil in a food processor, process into paste, add the paste into the pan and stir to combine, cook another 3 minutes
- add the tomato puree and stir well to combine
- add water, stir well then allow to simmer for 5 u2013 10 minutes
- add jalapenos and let simmer until sauce begins to thicken
- add the paneer cubes and cook 2-3 minutes
- stir in fenugreek and garam masala and serve over basmati
