In a large skillet fry bacon til firm but not crisp. Remove from pan and set aside, leave grease
Fry the collards in the bacon grease til all the grease is gone, Add the beef broth, bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or til collards are soft
Add lentils, raisins, pears and bacon to the pan, toss to combine and continue to cook uncovered til remainder of broth is gone, 4-6 minutes.
Stir in green onions and parsley and cook on medium another 2-3 minutes.
