Chicken McNuggets

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 chicken breast boneless skinless

Instructions

  • Preheat your oil to 375F
  • Mix together the spices and the flour
  • whisk the egg in a bowl, then whisk in the water
  • cut the chicken breasts width wise into 1 1/2" thick pieces, cut the larger ones in half so each nugget is 1 1/2" thick, 2 1/2" long and the height of the breast
  • Toss the nuggets in the flour in a ziplock bag or tupperware container. Submerge the nuggets in the egg wash, then toss them in the flour again.
  • Deep fry for 10 minutes at 375F
