fry the sausages and bacon until just browned- 5 minutes for the sausage, 8-10 minutes for the bacon
In a slowcooker layer the ingredients- 1 onion, 1 carrot, 2 potatoes, 1/3 bacon, 1/3 sausages, 1/2 cup parsley, 1 tsp pepper. Repeat 3 times and then pour in beef broth.
Slow cook on high for 3 hours.
The Bread
Preheat the oven to 425F
In a large mixing bowl combine all dry ingredients.
Slowly stir in the buttermilk then knead til a ball is formed.
Form an 8" dough ball by folding the dough's edges under itself.
Bake the dough on a greased baking sheet at 425F for 45 minutes, Serve spread with butter.
