In a small bowl mix together the sliced peppers and basil
pre heat your broiler
lay the salami slices down on the heal of the baguette and butter the top. Place both cut side up on a baking tray
whisk the egg, coat the chicken breast in the flour, dredge in the egg, then coat evenly with the bread crumbs
heat oil on medium-high in a medium skillet, when shimmering add the chicken breasts and cook til breadcrumbs are golden brown 5-8 minutes.
Turn the chicken breasts and add the vodka sauce to the pan. Move the breasts around to fully coat, then cover and simmer on medium for another 2-4 minutes
lay the chicken breasts on the salami on the heel of the bread, top with any remaining sauce from the pan then lay the mozzarella slices on top
Place the tray in the oven on the top shelf and broil until the cheese has fully melted and begins to brown.
Remove the sandwich from the broiler, top liberally with basil and peppers, cut in half and serve
