Beef and Coleslaw Stir-Fry with Bean Sprouts
This took less than 15 minutes start to finish to create and cost around $1 per portion!
Servings: 4 serving
Ingredients
- 2 tbsps chopped garlic
- 2 tsps ginger minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 - 2 tsps sriracha
- 1 half star anise cut in
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsps rice wine sherry or cooking
- vegetable oil
- 1 bag coleslaw
- 1 cup Bean sprouts
- 1/4 cup green onion chopped
Instructions
- Combine the sherry,soy sauce and sriracha in a bowl
- set a wok to high and when itu2019s hot, saute the garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes and star anise in the oil until fragrant, about 30 seconds
- Add the meat and the sauce combo and stir fry until meat is no longer pink, about a minute
- Add the cole slaw and bean sprouts and toss thoroughly until coated
- add the green onion and toss for another 30 seconds or so.
- Serve.
