Beef and Coleslaw Stir-Fry with Bean Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsps chopped garlic
  • 2 tsps ginger minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 - 2 tsps sriracha
  • 1 half star anise cut in
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps rice wine sherry or cooking
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 bag coleslaw
  • 1 cup Bean sprouts
  • 1/4 cup green onion chopped

Instructions

  • Combine the sherry,soy sauce and sriracha in a bowl
  • set a wok to high and when itu2019s hot, saute the garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes and star anise in the oil until fragrant, about 30 seconds
  • Add the meat and the sauce combo and stir fry until meat is no longer pink, about a minute
  • Add the cole slaw and bean sprouts and toss thoroughly until coated
  • add the green onion and toss for another 30 seconds or so.
  • Serve.
